Hair Inspiration

Recently I have been obsessed with pinterest. I love looking at hair pictures and I thought would round up the general type (of hair) I adore; you can see newer hair posts on my pinterest wall here

I have fallen head over heals in love with long healthy swishy hair. These are a few of my favourites. Also do you notice that a few of these have ombre hair (very tempted) it looks so pretty.

I can't get over how lush this rosy effect the hair has with this undertone

Hair goals, fingers crossed

Molly this reminds me of you!

Plaits, braids, whatever you like to call them, I love it! Half up half down or a little detail incorporating it, I am mad for it.

My last section which I have a fair fondness for is texture, waves, curls. It looks beautiful and I'm jealous - my hair is so straight and has nothing to it. This messy look is captivating and I cannot get enough of it.

I hope you liked this 'inspiration' (for your hair) post. I love pinning so follow my board if you want to see what I enjoy and think looks amazing. I will have to try some of these looks so if you want to see any tutorials just let me know on here or on my instagram @_itssmillie love you all and I hope you have a lovely week!

Get the Look For Less

Jeans | Topshop | £36 | Or | Primark | £10
Jumper | Topshop | £34 | Or | Primark | £10
Scarf | New Look | £15 | Or Primark | £6

I have been loving this outfit recently, it fits so well with the season and I love it for keeping nice and toasty. I love wearing this when I want to look presentable but I know that I will still feel warm and cosy. I wrote this post then realised that the clothing is expensive and not many of my readers might be able to afford it. So I sat there and I thought I would have a different option to get the same look, for less money. Though when I wrote this it began to look like Primark was sponsoring this post; I promise you it's not! Primark just has some really affordable clothes and accessories in right now.

I am obsessed with this jumper from Topshop, do you think I need another one? If your budget doesn't stretch to £34 for a jumper, there are very similar ones from Primark which I have seen and look very cosy - with an array of colours.

I paired it with my favourite ever jeans also from Topshop. These are the joni jeans and I will always be in love with them. You can purchase similar ones from Primark, super high waisted jeans are also similar. I like this combination of the light blue jeans and the off white top. Although it is winter, muted colours and pastels are in so your on the right track with the colour pallet. If you prefer you can change the colours to suit your preference. For example my friend has this jumper in black and wears it over a collered top and dark blue or black Leigh jeans. It proves that you can alter this outfit to suit you.

My favourite ever new accessory is this scarf from Primark. Yes Primark! I have seen this in River Island for £35! Yes £35 - this one is £6. What a bargain! I would definetly recommend going straight to the Primark option like I did. Another friend told me that she purchased a red version from New Look, I took a look on the website and they also do it in blue, yay! Whatever is easiest for you to buy. Me and my friend thought it would be a hard task finding this perfect scarf in a massively busy shop. Surprisingly it was the first thing we saw on a pillar thing. Incredibly lucky.

No lie I was so warm in this outfit, the scarf is just so snuggly. Also thank you to my Dad for taking the pictures, I love how they turned out! I hope you liked this post as it is something slightly different to a normal outfit of the day. I love how you have an option on where to buy it. You only have to remember that the quality is not going to be as good as the more expensive shops; so keep that in mind before you buy into it.

Makeup Medley

I have been so inspired recently by autumn and winter to change up my makeup a little bit. Today I thought I would share with you my favourite 'colder' makeup products; ranging from face, lips and eyes.

For my base I have been loving a higher coverage look so have reverted back to the L'Oreal True Match Foundation, a full review is here. I blend this away and use the Rimmel Wake Me Up under my eyes to brighten and make me look more awake. I quickly powder with Rimmel Stay Matte which sets  everything into place. That is just my basic face routine but now I add in a blush by NYX in 'Mocha' which is a rosy red-toned blush. This isn't massively pigmented but gives a lovely flush of colour. I heard that using a cool toned highlighter and a warm toned blush works best together. That is what I do and I like to use the Benefit high beam and put this on my cheekbones, nose and my cupids bow.

For my eyebrows, the most important part of your face. I use the Maybelline brow drama in 'medium brown', which is so easy to use - my love. For my eyes I take Maybelline's colour tattoo from the leather range in 'creamy beige'. I love this as it creates a lovely base for other eyeshadow. I blend this away with a brush to give a softer look on the eyes. For a little highlight I use MAC's 'blanc type' which is unbelievably pigmented and looks so natural. I move straight to mascara and I have been loving the Collection 5 in 1 which I will be doing a review very soon. I swipe this on my lashes and it gives a lovely fuller effect.

For my lips I like to moisturize with an EOS lip balm and wipe off any excess. I take my favourite light nude from Topshop in 'saint'. This is a very light nude but looks stunning with this whole makeup look. If I want I'll top it up throughout the day to give a more flawless look.

That is my recent makeup routine which I have been using recently. I love how nude the lips are and the softness of the eyes and the pop of colour on the cheeks work so well together. You can change this to suit your skin and your preference, this is just what I have been doing recently.

Round Up of the Month

I decided to do something different today and show you photos from the past month. This October has been so fun for me and I have done so many amazing things so I can not wait to share them with you. You can now find out a bit more about me.

I went to Florida but just before I had the nicest hot chocolate from Marks and Spencers which was super nice. I then went to Florida and this was in Coco Beach, it was so bright and hot, we stayed there for three nights. I couldn't help but snap a shot of a CVS (beauty problems).

This was an amazing experience as we visited the NASA space centre; it was so interesting and there were so many more photos but I narrowed it down to this. It was a very unique experience which I would reccomend to any one.

For two nights we stayed in Tampa which was such a different experience from the beach, as we were there there was a football game which was fun. The whole atmosphere of Tampa and the game was so cool and I want to go there again.

For three nights we stayed in this place called Sanibel, it was heaven here and I can not even explain the relaxed vibes and everything about it. Just search it on Google, it looks perfect and my idea of paradise.

Obviously Halloween also happened which was very exciting and I went as Tris from Divergent, it worked I think. From left to right these are my friends who went as Marilyn Monroe, Me (Tris), Cleopatra and an Angel. Also the picture before hand is a car I saw in America which had chopped hands and feet stuck to the boot, I was scared.
